Who is Aumio not suitable for? What are the so-called contraindications?The prevention offer “Good sleep with the Aumio app” is in no way a substitute for necessary medical or therapeutic treatment. If your child has a mental or physical illness, please consult a pediatrician or child and adolescent psychotherapist before your child takes part in the prevention program offered. Participation is not possible under any circumstances in the case of acute psychoses, dissociative disorders and post-traumatic stress disorders. Children with sleep disorders and sleep problems that require treatment cannot take part in the prevention offer either.
FAQ
How should the prevention offer be used?
- To be successfully reimbursed by your health insurance company, you must use the Aumio app regularly*: a total of 24 times over a period of at least three months.
- You will be accompanied by emails, a quiz in the app and optional additional information
- If you use it successfully, you will automatically receive a certificate from us after three months, which you can submit to your health insurance company
*Usage means opening the app and listening to one of our content.
What do I need for the refund?
The requirements are that your child is between six and 12 years old and is insured with a statutory health insurance company active in Germany.
To get reimbursed, submit the purchase receipt together with the confirmation of participation to your health insurance company. You will receive the purchase receipt by email immediately after purchase. You will automatically receive the certificate of participation from us after you have used the Aumio app 24 times over a period of three months.
Please note that your health insurance may limit the reimbursement of preventive measures per person to 1 - 2 measures per year. You can obtain further information about this directly from your health insurance provider.
Is the prevention course access a subscription?
No. Access to all Aumio content expires automatically after twelve months. Cancellation is not necessary.
Do I always have to present the purchase price?
Normally yes. However, we work more closely with some health insurance companies. Here you get direct access to all content via the insurance company without having to submit anything. You can do our health insurance check here .
